Bax Engineering Company Adds Four New Team Members
New hires strengthen firm’s field and drafting capabilities amid continued growth in residential, commercial, and municipal development projects
(St. Charles, Mo.) – Bax Engineering is proud to announce the addition of four new team members, reinforcing the firm’s long-standing commitment to quality, accuracy, and timely delivery of civil engineering and surveying services across the region.
The new hires – two field survey personnel and two drafting technicians – bring valuable skills and experience to meet the increasing demand for Bax’s residential, commercial, and municipal project work.
Austin Maier joins Bax as a Survey Party Chief. He served for 10 years in the U.S. Army with the 35th Engineer Brigade and the 19th Engineer Battalion, specializing in technical engineering with an emphasis in land surveying. Maier recently passed the FAA’s Unmanned Aircraft General (UAG) exam, positioning him to obtain a Remote Pilot Certificate and support Bax’s growing use of drone technology for aerial imaging and data collection. He now leads field efforts for boundary surveys, topographic surveys, and construction staking.
Landon Quarles joins as a Survey Field Crew team member with six years of experience as an Instrument Operator and Party Chief. He supports field work for house packages, boundary surveys, and construction layout.
Dylan Pettus and Andrew Wilson join Bax’s drafting team as AutoCAD Technicians, supporting engineers and project managers with design and documentation.
Pettus, a graduate of State Technical College of Missouri with an associate degree in Drafting and Design Engineering Technology, previously worked as a drafter for an aftermarket auto parts manufacturer. At Bax, he supports design work for residential subdivision projects.
Wilson, who also earned his associate degree from State Technical College of Missouri, studied Civil Construction Technology and now contributes to commercial drafting projects.
“We’re proud to welcome Austin, Landon, Dylan, and Andrew to the team,” said Cliff Heitmann, President of Bax Engineering. “As demand for civil engineering and surveying continues to grow, it’s important that we invest in people who are motivated, skilled, and aligned with our values. We’ve always believed Bax should be a place where professionals at all stages of their careers can do meaningful work, learn from one another, and build lasting contributions to the communities we serve.”
