Lawrence Group Expands with New Hires in St. Louis, New York Offices
(St. Louis, MO) Lawrence Group announces the hiring of Design Professionals Maosen Xu and Sulgi Cho at its New York office; and Interior Design Professional Kennady Crutchley, Permitting Specialist Samantha Olendorff, and Design Professional Catherine Matthews at its St. Louis headquarters.
Maosen Xu, Design Professional
Driven by a passion for creating spaces that inspire and transform, Xu holds a Master of Architecture from Cornell University’s College of Architecture, Art and Planning. He also has a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from McGill University.
His experience includes architectural internships at China Southwest Architectural Design and Research Institute Corporation and Archermit in Sichuan, China; and Gensler in Phoenix, AZ. He has also held positions as a Teaching Assistant and Media Assistant while attending Cornell University.
Sulgi Cho, Design Professional
A native of Brooklyn, NY, Cho graduated from The City College of New York with a Bachelor of Architecture and has worked the past five years as an Architectural Designer for Tiffany & Co. in New York City. Some of her Tiffany & Co. design projects included a pop-up boutique at London Heathrow Airport and renovations to a store in Stuttgart, Germany.
Kennady Crutchley, Interior Design Professional
Crutchley came to Lawrence Group from Feeler S. Architects (FSA) in Kirkwood, MO where she was an Architectural Associate and prior intern. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from Ranken Technical College.
Samantha Olendorff, Permitting Specialist
Olendorff has 15 years of experience managing and consulting on commercial construction projects in the design and permitting stages. Prior to Lawrence Group, she worked as a Senior Project Manager for Sherman Oaks, CA-based Permit Place and as a Permit Coordinator for ArcVision Inc. in Maryland Heights, MO.
Catherine Matthews, Design Professional
Matthews is a former Project/Architectural Designer at St. Louis-based Oculus, Inc., where she worked on a variety of projects ranging from healthcare to government institutions. Her nearly seven years of design experience also includes student architectural internships at Corgan in Dallas-Fort Worth, TX and DHR Architects, Inc. in San Antonio, TX.
She has a Master of Architecture from Kansas State University, where she had the opportunity to study architecture abroad at the Czech Technical University in Prague, Czech Republic.
