(WASHINGTON, DC, August 27th, 2025) – Multivista, part of Hexagon, today announced new ownership of its Washington, D.C., and Virginia-area territory franchise. The new owners, Brent Pearce and JD Lott, now oversee Multivista operations across 15 states and are looking to bring the success of these franchises to D.C. area customers, including project developers and owners, general contractors, facilities managers, architects, and engineers.
Multivista’s services include comprehensive construction reality capture solutions that unlock real-time progress reporting, virtual walkthroughs, and enhanced visualization abilities. The portfolio includes a centralized cloud platform to review data throughout each step of the project, from planning to maintenance, to avoid costly rework.
Pearce and Lott acquired the franchise from Scott Vinson on August 1. Of the new and established benefits available to current and future customers, Pearce and Lott are particularly excited about introducing Multivista’s full-service laser scanning solutions to the region.
“Bringing 3D laser scanning to this market has been a priority for us,” said JD Lott, co-owner. “As-built documentation has evolved beyond photos—our scan-to-CAD and scan-to-BIM capabilities now allow project teams to model existing conditions with millimeter-level accuracy.”
In addition to laser scanning, the new ownership group is also introducing Hexagon’s advanced building analytics tools, which help owners and facility teams gain deeper insights into their building systems over time. These offerings will complement Multivista’s existing suite of construction reality capture services—photographic milestone documentation, webcams, and drone/UAV imagery—all delivered via an intuitive, cloud-based platform.
“These enhancements will give our clients more data, more visibility, and more control over their projects than ever before,” said Brent Pearce, co-owner. “Whether it’s a school district, hospital system, university, or government agency—our platform ensures teams can track progress in real time and capture a permanent record of how every system was installed.”
Pearce and Lott, together, have over thirty years of construction industry experience.
