Verus® Research Announces the Appointment of Stephanie Garcia as Communications Manager
Albuquerque, N.M. – Verus® Research, a New Mexico-based team of scientists and engineers specializing in advanced research and technology development, announces the appointment of Stephanie Garcia as Communications Manager, a new role within the company. Garcia joined Verus Research in 2023 as a Technical Editor for the Applied Nuclear Research portfolio where she has demonstrated exceptional skill in managing complex information and crafting clear, impactful messaging.
As Communications Manager, Garcia will oversee internal and external communications, develop and implement strategic communications, and enhance the overall brand presence. She will work with Verus Research’s Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer Hank Andrews.
Andrews noted, “Stephanie Garcia’s move into this new role is a reflection of our company’s growth and her rare ability to contribute materially to that growth at this specific time in our history.” Ms. Garcia’s position is effective beginning October 1, 2024.
Garcia has nearly ten years of experience honing her skills in the communications field. Her career has been marked by successful strategic communications, media relations, and brand management roles, making her an ideal fit for this new role.
In addition to her extensive professional background, Garcia is actively pursuing a Ph.D. in Rhetoric and Professional Communication from New Mexico State University. Her academic pursuits reflect her commitment to staying at the forefront of the field and bringing a unique, research-driven perspective to Verus Research’s communication efforts.
