AISC Specification Available for Public Review and Comment

CHICAGO – A draft of the next edition of the AISC Specification for Structural Steel Buildings (AISC 360) is now available for public review and comment.

The next edition of AISC 360 will supersede the 2022 version and is anticipated to be published as a 2027 edition.

This draft of the standard includes an updated list of reference standards and materials; modified treatment of Chapter F requirements for flexural members with noncompact and slender elements; and the latest developments on a proposed appendix for establishing component strength by testing.

The draft will be available as a free download at aisc.org/publicreview between August 25 and September 22, 2025. If you’d prefer to review a hard copy, please contact Martin Downs at downs@aisc.org; there is a $35 nominal charge for printed copies.
