MILWAUKEE/DORTMUND, Germany – The Milwaukee Bucks have partnered with the German-based Wilo Group, making the multinational technology company the first Global Sustainability Partner of the Bucks and Fiserv Forum.

The partnership was announced at a press conference at Fiserv Forum today by Bucks and Fiserv Forum President Peter Feigin, Wilo Americas CEO Jeff Plaster, Wilo Americas Chief Sales Officer Svenja Ahlburg, and Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers.

“In line with our overarching, Group-wide sustainability strategy ‘Creating, Caring, Connecting’, it goes without saying that Wilo’s sports sponsorships also have to be sustainable,” said Oliver Hermes, Wilo President & CEO. “We are committing ourselves to creating sustainable technologies and solutions, assuming social responsibility, and investing in strong partnerships worldwide. This is also with the aim of prioritizing a significant expansion of our extremely successful business activities in North and Latin America.”

Through their partnership, the Bucks and Wilo will work jointly on sustainability projects and initiatives. Wilo will also provide the first-ever patch for the warm-up kits, including warm-up jackets and shooting shirts, worn by the Bucks throughout the multi-year deal. “Wilo has demonstrated an uncompromised commitment to sustainability on a global scale, from its world headquarters in Dortmund, Germany to its regional base here in Wisconsin,” said Matt Pazaras, Bucks Chief Business Development & Strategy Officer. “We’re excited to welcome Wilo as the Bucks’ first Global Sustainability Partner and first warm-up kit patch partner.”

Wilo, which opened a regional headquarters in Cedarburg, Wisconsin in 2022 and has been active in the North American market for more than 20 years, will also be featured on courtside signage at Fiserv Forum. The Bucks and Wilo will also collaborate to host river clean-ups throughout Wisconsin.

“This partnership is a clear commitment to our Wisconsin location and the U.S. market,” Plaster said. “By teaming up with the Bucks, we are expanding our business development and visibility in the U.S. and building on our successful region-for-region approach.”
